The tradition for Celtic Wedding Goblets dates back to the 17th Century.
The story goes that when a young man fell in love with a young woman. He would carve them a goblet with two captive rings out of a single piece of wood.
They toasted from the goblet on their wedding day, and every following anniversary.
The young lovers believed that as long as the two rings remained intact that their love would blossom, and last forever.
A truly romantic tale.
This goblet was carefully hand turned out of a piece of elm wood.
The rings are made out of the same piece and will never fall off.
